BRIGHTNESS OF THE FALL
This is the second painting in the series 'Falling in Love', paintings of the fall season. I chose this title because these warm, bright colors are also part of autumn. There is still a lot of color to discover in nature, the flowers and leaves. I intuitively put these flowers on the canvas. At first I had a vague example, but while painting it has become very different. You also see drips of paint on the canvas that arose when I had too much water in my softbrush or brush. I leave them as part of the creative process, they belong to the coarser way of painting and the transience of autumn.
