Heritage of Joy

I recently completed the mastercopy of a Golden Age flower-painting by Jan Davidszoon de Heem. With great pleasure and tension I have wrestled to create this painting. Over the shoulder of the great master I searched for the right colours, the right texture, the right fragility of the flowers, the leaves and the insects.
